in the shadows we ground

in the light we grow

Healing often begins not when things fall apart, but when we finally slow down enough to listen to what our body has been carrying.

At Sol de Luna, therapy is a space to come back into yourself, especially if you’ve spent much of your life being strong, capable, and responsible for others while quietly feeling disconnected inside. Many of the people I work with look “put together” on the outside, yet feel anxious, overwhelmed, or untethered beneath the surface.

My work begins with safety. Safety in your body. Safety in your nervous system. Safety to tell the truth about what you’re feeling without being rushed, analyzed, or fixed.

I believe healing happens in phases, much like the moon’s cycles. We start by grounding, helping your system settle, breathe, and find steadiness. From there, we gently explore patterns shaped by past experiences, relationships, and survival strategies that once helped you cope but may no longer serve you. Growth doesn’t come from pushing harder; it comes from learning how to stay present with yourself.

I’m Norma Elia Luna, LCSW, a trauma-informed therapist integrating somatic therapy, attachment-focused work, and nervous system regulation. I don’t see people as diagnoses. I see people as adaptive, resilient, and doing the best they can with the tools they were given. My role is to help you reconnect with your inner sense of safety, clarity, and self-trust.

Wherever you are in your journey, there is space for you here. We begin exactly where you are.

About Sol de Luna

Services We Offer

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy at Sol de Luna is a collaborative, one-on-one space designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and make sense of what you’re experiencing, without pressure to “fix” yourself.

Sessions are paced with care, focusing first on building nervous system safety. From there, we gently explore patterns related to anxiety, trauma, relationships, and self-worth, always guided by what feels manageable and supportive for you.

This work is especially helpful if you feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in cycles that no longer align with who you’re becoming.

Specialties

My work integrates several approaches that support healing at both the emotional and nervous system level, including:
